Organization Profile
TAPAT - Gumaca chapter is a political people's organization of
various sectors from Gumaca molded in the Tañada tradition of
promoting nationalist issues and concerns. It trains and
develops youth leaders , engages in political activities
toward the election of competent, progressive and nationalist
leaders at the local and national levels, provides services
and livelihood assistance, and promotes activities to enhance
leadership and governance. TAPAT has a total of 37, 718
members throughout Gumaca.
TAPAT holds the distinction of being the first
partner-beneficiary for the pilot project of the PH Domain
Foundation. The pilot project was launched on January
25, 2001 where local government officials, representatives
from TAPAT's members in the various municipalities, and its
distinguished leader. Atty. Erin Tañada attended the
ribbon-cutting ceremonies.
